It was so much fun. There were so many hills though. That is probably why my max heart rate was in the anaerobic zone for 15% of my run. I also used ear buds for the first time on my runs, and listened to some Navy cadences. I was enjoying myself so much and forgot about my heart rate. It brought back memories of my Navy days, especially boot camp. Tomorrow is a day off. | Strava

Today was the first 4 miler. I was going to do intervals today, but a older man that walks out there on the sidewalk often decided to join me when he saw me walking. He does not run, so I decided to just walk for the most part, until about the end of the run. I then did some very short intervals. I am ok with that. It was still a good run. Max heart rate only reached 137 bpm. I also got some sun, which is good.0 Comments 1 Shares 1538 Views - Tomorrow, I am scheduled for a 4 mile interval training run. These runs are so much fun. I cannot wait for it. I am going to try to keep my heart rate in the aerobic range, which is about a3-4 exertion bursts of speed on a scale of 1-10, and then walk, then repeating.
- I did a 10 mile slow paced run this morning. The last 3 weeks, I have not been able to complete a 10 mile run, but today, I did it. I just figured out a few things that were going on, and fixed them. I was pretty tired when I got to the finish. Now, next week, I will taper off on the milage, to keep me fresh and rested, cause the following week after that, is a 13.1 mile run, which is a half marathon.
