- I did a 10 mile slow paced run this morning. The last 3 weeks, I have not been able to complete a 10 mile run, but today, I did it. I just figured out a few things that were going on, and fixed them. I was pretty tired when I got to the finish. Now, next week, I will taper off on the milage, to keep me fresh and rested, cause the following week after that, is a 13.1 mile run, which is a half marathon. This is one of my goals with running, and cannot wait to try to achieve it.I did a 10 mile slow paced run this morning. - Ivan is now, doing his processing into Navy boot camp. He called earlier this morning, and said that he was a little nervous, but will get through it. When he gets to boot camp, he will not get much sleep the first night, maybe 1-2 hours, so I feel for him after having almost 18 hours of flight time, and a few layovers. Please keep praying for him. - Well, Ivan is on his way to boot camp, with a stop in Guam to do paperwork at the recruiting office. I am so excited for him and his new journey.
